The Italian name is FC Internazionale Milano and their nicknames are I Nerazzurri (the Black and Blue), La Beneamata and Il Biscione. The club colours are therefore logically black and blue. Their home stadium is the San Siro with a capacity of 80,018 seats. It is thus one of the largest stadiums in Europe and the largest stadium in Italy. The club's rivals are AC Milan, with whom they play Derby della Madonnina. Another rivalry is with Juventus, with whom they play Derby d'Italia.
More about Inter MilanThe Tuscany club has a tradition dating back to 1920 and has changed its name several times throughout its history. From the original Empoli FBC it gradually became ASF Empoli, Dopolavoro Empolese to today's Empoli FC. The Azzurri, as the team playing its home games at Stadio Carlo Castellani (capacity of more than 16,000 spectators) is also nicknamed, even played in the UEFA Cup in 2007. However, the vast majority of their time was spent in Italy's third highest competition. They have been more successful in recent seasons, but they are still more of a provincial club in the Italian scale, on the border between Serie A and Serie B.
