This Dutch football club has several nicknames. They are called the pearl of the south, the yellow army or the rats. Their club colours are yellow and black, which adorn both the club crest and the team jerseys. They play in combinations of these colors both home and away. The Rats nickname is easily understood due to the name of their stadium, which is called Rat Verlegh Stadium and has a capacity of 19,000 seats. The club was founded in 1912 in the city of Breda by the merger of AVENDO and NOAD, which gave rise to the current abbreviation NAC (NOAD ADVENDO Combinatie).
More about NAC BredaThey are called Heraclieden and their club colours are black and white. These can be found both on the club crest and on the home jersey, which has black and white vertical stripes. They are at home in the Erve Asito stadium, which has a capacity of 12,080 seats. The Dutch side was founded in the town of Almeo in 1903, then still under its former original name of Heracles. Interestingly, the club takes its name from a figure in Greek mythology, Heracles, son of the god Zeus. In 1974, the name was changed to SC Heracles '74 and has had its current name since 1998.
