The full name of this club, Reial Club Deportiu Espanyol de Barcelona, translates to Royal Spanish Sports Club Barcelona. The nicknames are Periquitos, Blanquiazules (white and blue) and Mágico (magical). On the home jerseys, we thus naturally find the white and blue colours, which are projected in wide vertical stripes. The club plays at the RCDE stadium, which is also known as Estadi Cornellà-El Prat. It has a capacity of 40,500 seats and is a modern stadium that opened in 2009.
More about RCD EspanyolThe club's nicknames include Oscenses, Azulgranas and Los de la cruz de San Jorge. The club colours are dark blue and red, which is both on the home jerseys and in the emblem. The home jerseys have a wide diagonal dark blue stripe on the chest. They play their home games at Estadio El Alcoraz, which has a capacity of just 7,638 seats, having already expanded in 2018 after the club joined La Liga. Even so, the stadium had to get an exemption because the official minimum for La Liga is 15,000 seats.
