The football team from Rotterdam SBV Excelsior plays its home matches at the Van Donge and De Roo stadium with a total capacity of four and a half thousand spectators. The nickname clearly documents the club's colours, Roodzwarten, meaning 'red and black'. The 15-time winner of the Dutch top competition plays at the De Kuip stadium, which has a capacity of 51,137 spectators.
