The team, which has been led by coaches such as Vladimir Petrovic and Ricardo Sá Pinto, has won the Greek second league three times (1972, 1980 and 2009) and has reached the final of the National Cup twice, in 2011 and 2012. Atromitos FC has been especially successful in the last generation, with a five-pointed blue star on a white background in its emblem.
