In an intense Serie A matchup, Juventus secured a hard-fought victory over Inter Milan on November 6th, 2022. The game was tightly contested, with emotions running high and both teams pushing for supremacy.
Juventus drew first blood in the second half when midfielder Adrien Rabiot found the back of the net in the 52nd minute, sending the home fans into a state of ecstasy. This goal sparked energy into the match, heightening the competitive edge.
Inter tried to respond almost immediately, but their efforts were dampened by disciplinary issues. In the 56th minute, Inter's creative force, Hakan Çalhanoğlu, received a yellow card, which put him at risk and hampered his approach to the game.
The tension rose further in the 66th minute when Juventus thought they had doubled their lead through Danilo, only for the goal to be cancelled, keeping Inter within touching distance.
Inter's defensive rock, Milan Škriniar, entered the referee's book in the 68th minute, as he too was shown a yellow card, increasing the pressure on the away side.
Substitutions came thick and fast in the latter stages of the match with Juventus making a strategic change in the 73rd minute, introducing A. Milik to the fray. Inter followed suit a minute later with a double change, H. Çalhanoğlu making way for F. Dimarco in one of the substitutions.
Danilo from Juventus was not left out of the caution spree as he picked up a yellow card in the 77th minute. Perhaps in an attempt to freshen legs and hold onto their lead, Juventus switched F. Miretti onto the pitch in the 81st minute. Inter made a triple substitution at the same minute, looking to overturn their deficit with fresh legs, bringing on M. Škriniar, H. Mkhitaryan, and D. Dumfries.
Despite Inter's efforts, Juventus managed to reinforce their advantage with N. Fagioli scoring another goal for the home side in the 84th minute, which helped put the game beyond doubt for the Turin giants.
The match edged towards its conclusion, but not without Juventus' goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny receiving a yellow card in the 90th minute, which was a minor blemish on an otherwise successful day for the Old Lady.
The final whistle cemented a significant win for Juventus against their fierce rivals, as they took crucial points in the battle at the top end of Serie A.
