Rio Ave Futebol Clube, commonly known as Rio Ave FC, is a Portuguese football club based in Vila do Conde, a city in the northern part of Portugal. The club was founded on May 10, 1939, and plays its home matches at the Estádio do Rio Ave FC, also known as Estádio dos Arcos, which has a seating capacity of around 9,000 spectators.
