The full name of this club, Reial Club Deportiu Espanyol de Barcelona, translates to Royal Spanish Sports Club Barcelona. The nicknames are Periquitos, Blanquiazules (white and blue) and Mágico (magical). On the home jerseys, we thus naturally find the white and blue colours, which are projected in wide vertical stripes. The club has been nicknamed in many ways, such as Los Hispalenses, Sevillistas, Los Nervionenses, El Grande de Andalucía and finally Los Rojiblancos (the red and white). While the home jersey is mostly white, the away jersey is again practically all red. The club plays at the Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán, which seats 54,883.
