KV Kortrijk

Over the years, they have occasionally played in the first league, but have not achieved significant success there. Their most valuable trophies come from the second league, which they won shortly after their foundation in the 1905/1906 season and a second time more than a century later in the 2007/2008 season. Their home stadium is the Guldensporenstadion providing a capacity of over 9,000 seats for fans.

More about KV Kortrijk

KAA Gent

They are called De Buffalo's, after Buffalo Bill, who visited the club's grounds in the early 20th century. The club uses blue as its color. They also play home games in blue jerseys, and blue is also found in the club's emblem, which is dominated by an Indian head. The Ghelamco Arena serves as their sanctuary, offering a capacity of 20 000 spectators. The Belgian club originates from the city of Ghent, where it was founded in 1864. But back then it was still part of the gymnastic association, while football didn't start to be played here until much later, in 1900.
