More about FC Nantes

Le Havre AC

The French football club plays under the nicknames Le club doyen or Les Ciel et Marine (The Sky and the Dark Blue). Their club colours thus include light blue as the colour of the sky and dark blue as the colour of the sea. These colours appear both in the crest and on the home jerseys. They play their home games at the Stade Océane, which has a capacity of 25,181 seats. The club was founded in 1872 in Le Havre, Normandy. Interestingly, the whole was founded by English founders and their anthem is played to the tune of "God Save the Queen", which refers to the club's English origins.
