Fortuna Sittard is a professional football club based in Sittard, Netherlands. The team plays in the Eredivisie, which is the top tier of Dutch football. Founded on 1 July 1968 as a merger between two football clubs, Fortuna '54 and Sittardia, the club's colors are predominantly green and yellow.
