Northampton Town FC

The English team Northampton Town FC from Northamptonshire has been in existence since 1897. They have been in the lower leagues for their entire history, with their biggest title coming in the 1962/1963 season when they won the Third Division. They also have Fourth Division titles (1986/1987 and 2015/2016) and won the Southern Football League in the 1908/1909 season. They play their home games at Sixfields Stadium with a capacity of just under 8,000 spectators.

The nickname of this English team is The Boro. The club colours are red and white and these are found both in the club crest and on the home jerseys, where the sleeves and shorts are red and there are subtle vertical red and white stripes on the chest and back. They are at home at the Broadhall Way stadium, which has a capacity for 7,800 people. The club was founded in the town of Stevenage in the metropolitan county of Hertfordshire. This was in 1976, under the name Stevenage Borough FC, and it was only in 2010 that the club acquired its current name.
