FC Emmen is a Dutch professional football club based in Emmen, Drenthe, founded on August 21, 1925. The team traditionally plays in red and white and competes in the Eerste Divisie, the second tier of Dutch football, following relegation from the Eredivisie in the 2020-2021 season. Their home matches are held at De Oude Meerdijk, a stadium with a capacity of around 8,600 spectators.

This Dutch football club has several nicknames. They are called the pearl of the south, the yellow army or the rats.
