The current name has only been valid since 1974, but the predecessor of today's Feyenoord Rotterdam was founded in 1908 under the name Wilhelmina. One of the Netherlands' most famous clubs won the European Champions Cup in 1970 and has twice won the prestigious UEFA Cup (1974 and 2002). The 15-time winner of the Dutch top competition plays at the De Kuip stadium, which has a capacity of 51,137 spectators.
More about Feyenoord RotterdamThe full name of this famous team is Amsterdamsche Football Club Ajax, but all football fans know it more as Ajax Amsterdam, or just Ajax. Historically, it is the most successful Dutch club, which has made a very bold mark on the international scene. It was one of the few teams to win all major European competitions. This means that they have managed to dominate in the Champions League (formerly PMEZ), the Cup Winners' Cup or the UEFA Cup.
