In a thrilling football match on December 28, 2022, Alanyaspor faced off against Kayserispor in what would be a high-intensity clash. The game kicked off energetically and it didn't take long for the home team to show their dominance. Just 21 minutes into the game, Koka found the back of the net with a clinical finish, giving Alanyaspor the lead.

The celebration had barely subsided when, just two minutes later, Arnaud Lusamba doubled Alanyaspor's advantage, with the goal being confirmed after an initial review. The swift succession of goals left the visitors reeling, but they attempted to regroup, only to face further hindrance as Bernard Mensah received a yellow card at the 29-minute mark for a challenge that the referee deemed unsportsmanlike.

Challenges continued to ensue as the match progressed, with Yusuf Ozdemir of Alanyaspor being booked with a yellow card in the 32nd minute. However, Özdemir wasn't fazed by the booking; he returned to the spotlight four minutes later by scoring Alanyaspor's third goal, solidifying a formidable lead before the half-time whistle.

As the first half was coming to a close, Ivan Cavaleiro of Alanyaspor was also shown a yellow card, adding to the growing list of cautions in the game.

The second half saw Kayserispor pushing for a comeback. Gustavo Campanharo was introduced immediately after the break, signaling the visitors' intent to change the tide of the match. Alanyaspor's coach made a strategic decision by making three substitutions at once in the 56th minute, bringing off Lusamba, Özdemir, and Cavaleiro in a bold move to freshen up the squad.

This seemed to open up play for Kayserispor, and at the 59-minute mark, Ali Karimi scored, breathing life into the away side's aspirations. Following the goal, Kayserispor continued to push, but had to watch out for discipline as Lionel Carole and Miguel Cardoso both were cautioned with yellow cards in quick succession.

Amidst the visitors' efforts to find another goal, an unfortunate handball incident led to Alanyaspor being awarded a penalty in the 72nd minute. Efecan Karaca stepped up and confidently converted the spot-kick, putting the game seemingly out of reach for Kayserispor.

In a late attempt to salvage the match, Emrah Başsan and Mario Gavranović were brought on for Kayserispor, but Alanyaspor managed to maintain control of the game. Rúnar Alex Rúnarsson joined his teammates in the referee's book with a yellow card at the 80-minute mark, but it did little to dampen the spirits of Alanyaspor's players or fans.

Candeias was the final substitution for Alanyaspor, entering the game in the 84th minute, while Kayserispor's final roll of the dice came when Cardoso was substituted in the 86th minute. Despite a last-gasp effort, including an extended stoppage time in which Ali Karimi got his name on the caution list, the visitors could not overcome the deficit.

The match concluded with Alanyaspor securing a commanding victory over Kayserispor, much to the delight of their supporters. It was a match that highlighted the exciting, yet unpredictable, nature of football with an array of goals, a penalty, and a flurry of cards, encapsulating the drama that fans so deeply cherish.
