They are called Den Haag for short and nicknames include De Residentieclub, De Ooievaars or De Cabreilianz Clabianz. The club colours are yellow and green, which are part of the club crest and jerseys. For their home games they use the Cars Jeans Stadium, which has a capacity for 15,000 people. This Dutch football club was founded in the city of The Hague in 1905.
The club's home ground is currently the top Dutch league competition known as the Eredivisie. After the 2019/20 season, this club finished 17th in the premier league table here. Within the top league, the club became a double champion in its earlier history, specifically in the 1941/42 and 1942/43 seasons right after each other. The club also triumphed twice in the Dutch Cup, a little later in the 1967/68 edition and then again in the 1974/75 edition. On international soil, the club was particularly successful in the quarter-finals of the Cup Winners' Cup in 1975/76.
