This traditional Prague club is called Kangaroos or simply Bohemka. The club colours are green and white, which are represented by horizontal stripes on the home jerseys. Their stadium is Ďolíček with a capacity of 5,000 people. It was originally called the Danner Stadium because Zdeněk Danner, the then director of the Vršovice Credit Union, was responsible for its construction.
One of the most important figures and legends of the club, who is forever associated with it, is the outstanding footballer Antonín Panenka, who scored 76 goals for the club. He is also the author of the famous "Vršovice long ball".
The history of the club dates back to 1895, when the former SK Kotva was founded. Today's club is considered its direct successor. In 1905 it was under the name of AFK Vršovice, then from 1927 Bohemians. The club has changed its name many times, and since 2005 it has been called Bohemians 1905. Since then, there have also been disputes over the name and succession, and at the time the club was in financial trouble and threatened with extinction. The current name, Bohemians Prague 1905, has been the club's name since 2013. It was in 2013 that it also returned to the First League after the problems were solved.
Among the club's greatest achievements is the league championship title, which dates back to the 1982/83 season, when the Czechoslovak league was still being played. The club also won the current Czech Cup a season earlier.
On the international stage, the club scored in the Intertoto Cup in 1979, 1980, 1982, 1983 and 1984. He has a total of 5 triumphs from here. The club has also played several times in the former UEFA Cup, the current Europa League. However, its participations are of an older date, between 1976 and 1988. In general, this period can be described as one of the best in the club's history, both at international and domestic level. Indeed, it is the period from which the greatest number of the club's successes are concentrated.
