The Bantams, The Paraders or The Citizens are the nicknames of this English band from Brandford, West Yorkshire. The club was founded here in 1903 and, judging by one of its nicknames, it is not surprising to find a cockerel in its emblem. The home jerseys are dark red and orange, which are also the club colours. They are at home at Valley Parade Stadium, which has a capacity of 25,136 spectators.
Until recently, the club was still operating within League One, but the 2018/19 season saw them suffer relegation and so we now find them in League Two, the fourth highest competition within English football. They have won the English Cup once, in the 1910/11 season. This already somewhat bearded achievement can be considered the greatest triumph of this unit. However, they have also reached the League Cup final, again relatively recently, during the 2012/13 season. They play the so-called Brandford derby with their city rivals Bradford Park Avenue. There is also a West Yorkshire derby with local rivals Leeds United and Huddersfield Town.
