Brazilian national football team is historically the most successful national team, having already won the World Cup five times. The last time this happened was in 2002. They have been second twice and third the same number of times. Alongside this, of course, they have a whole host of other achievements. They have won the Copa América twice, the Panamerican Championship three times and the Confederations Cup four times.
A lot of football legends have also played for the Canaries. Names such as Pelé, Romário, Rivaldo, Roberto Carlos, Ronaldinho, Ronaldo and Neymar must certainly be mentioned.
