The nickname of this Turkish football club is Fırtına (storm). The club colours are yellow and dark blue, with vertical blue stripes on the home jersey, which is predominantly yellow apart from the white shorts. Outdoors, they then play in a combination of a blue jersey and yellow shorts. Home games are played at the Buca Arena, which has a capacity of 8 800 seats. The club was founded in 1928 in the Turkish city of Izmir. The football department in this sports club stands out by far the most, but basketball, volleyball and athletics are also practiced here.
The Turkish League is known for the passion of its football matches, and this Turkish team also has strong local rivalries with other teams from the same city.
