English football team Coventry City FC has been playing the most popular ball game since 1883. And since then, they've made their way through all the different levels of English football, having even tried the Premier League in the modern era. However, they haven't made it to great success among the elite.
Their most notable success so far came in the 1986/1987 season when they managed to dominate the FA Cup. They beat Tottenham Hotspur 3-2 in the final. Interestingly, they also won the FA Youth Cup. Coventry City FC is one of only five teams to achieve this feat in a single season.
Due to their blue jersey colouring, they are nicknamed the Sky Blues and therefore sky blue. For their home matches they use the modern Ricoh Arena, which is able to offer a football spectacle to more than 32 thousand spectators.
