Doncaster Rovers FC has been in existence since 1879. Doncaster is located in the metropolitan county of South Yorkshire. Their club colours are white and red. And it is in this combination of clothing that fans come to cheer at the Keepmoat Stadium with a capacity of over 15 thousand spectators.
During its long history, Doncaster Rovers FC has never once looked at the first league. Their women's arm, Doncaster Rovers Belles L.F.C. have been far more successful in this regard, having already managed to win the Women's Premier League twice in the early 1990s. The men's side therefore have to be content with modest success in the lower competitions, the highest they have been in the third division.
