ES-ES can be used for short, as nicknames have Kırmızı Şimşekler (Red Lightnings) or Anadolu Yıldızı (Star of Anatolia). The club colours are red and black, which also appear on the jerseys. They play their home games in a red jersey with black vertical stripes and white shorts. The away jersey transitions seamlessly from red on the shoulders to black, the alternate jersey is yellow. The club is at home at the New Eskişehir Stadium with a capacity of 34,930 people. The club's foundation dates back to 1965 and is based in the Turkish city of Eskişehir.
The club operated for 16 years in the second highest competition but then dropped down a level. After 12 years out of the top competition, the Süper Lig, it was finally promoted again in 2008. Historically, it has finished second in the top competition a total of 3 times, in the 1968/69, 1969/70 and 1971/72 editions. He also won the Turkish Football Cup in the 1970/71 season and the Turkish Super Cup in the same year.
