The Dutch football club has nicknames like The Tukkers, Pride of the East or The Reds. And red is also the club's colour, which accompanies them both in their emblem with a rearing stallion and on their home jerseys. Their sanctuary is the De Grolsch Veste stadium and can host up to 30,205 fans. The club was founded in 1965 in the city of Enschede in the east of the Netherlands.
The current home of the club is the top Dutch league competition, the Eredivisie, and the club finished the 2019/20 season in 14th place in the top league table. Within the Eredivisie, the club has already achieved the highest achievement, the championship title from the 2009/10 season. It has also finished runner-up a total of 3 times, in the 1973/74, 2008/09 and 2010/11 seasons. They have also won the Dutch Cup 3 times, in the 1976/77, 2000/01 and 2010/11 seasons. The team also shone on European soil, winning the Intertoto Cup in 2006. From the list of achievements, it is easy to see that, especially in the second half of the first decade of this century, the club had some strong years.
