Guangzhou R&F FC, also known as Guangzhou City FC since 2021, is a professional football club based in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China. The team plays in the Chinese Super League (CSL), which is the top tier of Chinese football. Founded in 1986, the club was originally known as Shenyang Ginde FC and went through several relocations and name changes before settling in Guangzhou in 2011.
The club's colors are blue and white, and they play their home matches at the Yuexiushan Stadium, which has a seating capacity of around 18,000 spectators. Guangzhou R&F has established itself as a competitive side within Chinese football, although they have often been overshadowed by their more famous city rivals, Guangzhou Evergrande Taobao FC.
The team has not yet secured a CSL title but has had some successes, including high league finishes and performances in domestic cup competitions. They are known for their attacking style of play and have historically invested in both domestic and foreign talents to bolster their squad.
