Hereford FC was founded in 2014 as a successor to the now bankrupt Hereford United FC, which had a history dating back to 1924. Their home stadium on Edgar Street has a capacity of around 5,000 spectators. The club colours are black and white, with away games played in yellow and black jerseys.
Hereford players have managed to gain some minor successes in the club's modern history. They have done so by winning the Southern Football League Premier Division, Southern Football League Division One South & West, Midland Football League Premier Division, Herefordshire County Cup and the Midland Football League Cup.
