The nickname of this Italian football club is Biancorossi (Red and White). The colours red and white can be found in the emblem and on the home jerseys. The away jerseys are dark blue with details of the club colours on the shoulders. They play at the Stadio Romeo Neri, which offers a capacity of 9,768 seats. The club hails from the city of Rimini in the Emilia-Romagna region. The club was founded there in 1912, then under the name Libertas Rimini.
Interesting from a historical point of view are the 1980s, when the club was led by the famous coach Arrigo Sacchi, who was then only at the beginning of his coaching career. Like many other Italian clubs, this one was not spared financial problems. In 1994 it went into bankruptcy due to huge debts. That same year, the club was bought by a private businessman, which ensured financial stability. The club even manages to reach the 2nd highest Italian competition, Serie B. Since then, bankruptcy has befallen the club twice more, with it currently playing Serie C. They have never been in the top league.
