Seattle Sounders FC is an American soccer team that has been playing in the Western Conference of Major League Soccer since 2007. They play their home games at CenturyLink Field, a stadium with a capacity of about 37,000 soccer fans. The home jerseys are green, while the away games are dark blue. The team has quite a few co-founders, as one of them was Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen before his death.
They are one of the most successful American teams, having won every major trophy. They won the MLS Cup twice in 2016 and 2019, the Supporters' Shield in 2014, and the U.S. Open Cup in 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2014.
