The Italian team Ternana Calcio from the city of Terni has been around for more than a century, having been founded in 1918. In the course of its history, it has changed its name several times and has even gone bankrupt and been re-founded. Fans can support them in person at the Stadio Libero Liberati with a capacity of over 17,000 spectators.
They have also tried the first league, but only in two seasons between 1972 and 1974. On the other hand, they have already played more in the second league and, above all, they could also enjoy the title there in the 1971/1972 season. After that, the move to the first league followed, so the 1970s can be considered the best period in the club's history.
