Turkish national football team uses the national colours of red and white. The statistics of their top scorer, Hakan Şükür, who scored 51 goals for the Turkish national team and managed to score the fastest goal ever against South Korea at the 2002 World Cup, are certainly interesting. If we stay with the statistics of the Turkish national team players for a while, it is also worth mentioning the 120 national team starts that Rüştü Reçber has made.
Turkey also won bronze medals at the 2002 World Cup, when the Turkish cannonballer shone with the aforementioned fastest goal. They also managed to win the same precious metal at the European Championships in 2008. Thus, the Turkish football team is certainly not without significant achievements. The national team falls under the Turkish Football Federation and they have qualified for the World Cup three times, in 1950, 1954 and in 2002, when they achieved their prized success.
