Warrington Town FC was founded in 1949, then still under the name Stockton Heath. It was changed to its present form in 1961. Their ground, Cantilever Park, can offer a football spectacle to about 2.5 thousand spectators. They play their home games in a combination of yellow and blue, and their away games are played in blue and white.
They have been champions several times at regional level. As far as English cups are concerned, the FA Cup best brought them participation in the second round in the 2014/2015 edition. In the FA Trophy, their best quarter-final appearance was in the 1992/1993 season.
