The Spanish football club is known by its nicknames Xerecistas or Azulinos. The club's traditional colours are blue and white, which appear both in the emblem and on the home jerseys. Outdoors they play in green, but alternatively they also use a blue and white combination. The club is at home at the Estadio Municipal de Chapín with a capacity of 20,523. The founding of the club took place relatively recently, in 2013 by a group of fans, as a response to the critical situation at Xerez CD. The club is based in the city of Jerez de la Frontera in Andalusia, southwestern Spain.
The club's first season was the 2013/14 season, when it started from scratch, of course. It gradually worked its way up to the 4th division of Spanish football known as the Tercera División, which it has been playing since the 2018/19 season. Back then, it finished in 5th position in the table. The club's fans have a very warm relationship with Sevilla FC fans, with their friendship born in the late 20th century from their radical fan groups Kolectivo Sur (Xerez) and Biris Norte (Sevilla).
