The nickname of the club is De Kempeneers, the colour combination of the jerseys is yellow and blue. For home games the jersey is yellow, which is complemented by blue shorts, for away games it is the other way around. Alternatively, they also use white jerseys with blue details. At home they are at Het Kuipje Westerlo stadium, which has a capacity of 8,035 spectators. The club was founded back in 1933 and, as its name suggests, operates in the Belgian municipality of Westerlo in the province of Antwerp.
More about KVC WesterloKV Mechelen is a Belgian football team founded in 1904. During its more than 100 year history, it has been one of the most successful teams in the Belgian league. They have been champions four times, but the last time they celebrated was in the 1988/1989 season. They also have a second league titles and several cup successes to their name. Their greatest international acclaim came in the 1987/1988 season when they won the European Cup Winners Cup. AFAS Stadium with a capacity of over 16 000 spectators is used for their home matches.
