The German club 1. FC Kaiserslautern has been in existence since 1900 and, in addition to football, is involved in other sports such as basketball, boxing, handball, field hockey, triathlon and athletics. They play their matches at the Fritz-Walter-Stadion, which boasts a capacity of around 50,000 seats. The stadium is named after the former captain of the German football team in the 1954 World Cup.

Karlsruher SC

The German team is simply abbreviated as KSC and since the 1993/94 season has also been nicknamed Eurofighter. The club colours are blue and white, which can be found not only in the emblem but also on the jerseys.
