The German club 1. FC Kaiserslautern has been in existence since 1900 and, in addition to football, is involved in other sports such as basketball, boxing, handball, field hockey, triathlon and athletics. The German football club is nicknamed Kiezkicker or also Freibeuter der Liga (Pirates of the League), with the club colours being brown and white.
